The Fred Astaire Dance Studio hopes everyone had a wonderful Christmas and fun-filled blizzard!

Please remember that the studio will be closed until January 3rd as we celebrate the holiday season and gear up for the exciting season of dancing that is yet to come!

We have our Winter Showcase scheduled for February 12th & our next competition in Atlantic City slated for mid-March, which as scary as it sounds, is just around the corner.

So there is lots and lots to prepare for!

We are hosting our next practice party this Friday starting at 8:30 pm.  We are going to celebrate the groups AWESOME job at the Regional Competition this past weekend and celebrate THANKSGIVING which is not to far behind.

1.  So as you know, we had a HALLOWEEN Party on 10/29/2010!  We had an awesome turnout and some of the best costumes ever!

2.  Regional Competition in Parsippany, NJ

(November 12-13, 2010)

 

Our studio will be participating in the next Fred Astaire Competition in Parsippany, NJ.  We want to wish all of our competitors the best of luck!  They have worked hard to be a part of the event and they will perform very well!

2a. If you have never been to a competition, you may be interested in attending the event to come watch and cheer our competitor's on!  If you would like to come watch our students, and the rest of the competitive field shake their tailfeathers, come see us for details and directions. The more, the merrier!

 

 

2b.  The culmination of the competition weekend ends with a big GALA event. This event includes dinner, dancing, and a professional show!  We are putting together a table or two for those of you who would like to attend.  Even if you can't make it for the competitive portion of the weekend, you are more than welcome to join us for the Gala. It's our opportunity to celebrate everybody's hard work and victories!!!!

 

3.  Next Party  - November 19, 2010

Since the competition falls on our regular party weekend, we are pushing out the next party to November 19th.  As the holidays approach, the party schedule might get a little wacky, so keep your eyes, ears, and facebook accounts open to keep up with the scheduling.

We are having our annual Halloween Dance Party and Costume Contest!!!! The party starts at 8:30 and will actually be a send off party for our November competitors as well!

There will be food, drink, music, and prizes awarded.

Costumes are not required, but a lot of fun!

This is a great opportunity to let loose and try something new! You do not have to be a current student to join the fun.

We'll see you (or your other personality) on the dance floor!!!

Starting Saturday, October 9 we are starting our new session of kids group classes.

Cost is $20 per session.

Pre-Registration is required so please call us at 845-297-2711 to sign up!

We are hosting our next dance party on Friday, October 1st starting at 8:30 pm.  There will be general music, dancing, and light refreshments.

Cost is $20 per person and all are welcome!
